Some Key Points:
- Heaviest weight you can handle with good form, for full range of motion
- Choose a weight that you can perform for 30-50 seconds depending on your desired goal
- Keep continuous tension on the muscles throughout the movement
- Do not rest at the bottom of the movement
- With hamstrings, a steady uniform movement to a FULLY contracted state is optimal
- Your hamstrings may burn after a few sets, safely work through that burn if the pain is not acute from an injury standpoint, but rather a product of lactic acid build up
