The Mindset: The Plan & Accountability

One of the single biggest factors in your successful progress is

ACCOUNTABILITY

to a

QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL

who you

TRUST & RESPECT.

Left to your own devices, you will slack, rationalize, cheat. It’s human nature to take the path of least resistance.  This is why you see so many athletes lose their shape and performance levels in the off season.

Game Changer Strategy:

  1. Find the best coach you can find
  2. Share BIG Meaningful Goals
  3. Get help in establishing a rock solid plan
  4. Create a Scorecard through which you will track your progress daily and develop solid habits that will serve you.
  5. Check in DAILY with your coach
  6. Make course corrections as necessary

Here is the scorecard I like to use in tracking progress:

Here is the Daily Food Performance Tracker I often use to pinpoint accuracy as part of the plan:

Both tools in tandem challenge one to stay sharp.  I often have people send their macro’s and calories through the MyFitnessPal App leaving little to chance.

Final Thought: All successful businesses follow a similar model with strict accounting as a basic tenet of success. Why would you treat your body any differently, as health should be a top priority?

Should you obsess over the numbers? Absolutely not.  Everyone needs to eat.  You have just chosen to be a little more diligent with your portion sizes.

The same applies to any medication that a doctor prescribes, and a pharmacist measures out.  They give you exact doses based on your body’s needs.  They don’t just give you a massive dose randomly and then let you take doses whenever you feel badly.  It would be ridiculous to follow that path. The same could be said to eating whenever you are “hungry”.  That’s a recipe to OBESITY.

With food, you just take your “dose” and move on, letting food serve you while being accountable to prevent yourself from being your own worst enemy.

PLAN THE WORK, WORK THE PLAN, and STAY ACCOUNTABLE.
